Responsibilities

About the Role:

 

The Corporate Recruitment Consultant at WilsonHCG acts as a trusted client advisor and candidate advocate combining leading-edge recruitment strategies and market intelligence to deliver the best talent to meet the critical staffing needs of our clients. The Corporate Recruitment Consultant  handles all aspects of the recruiting process including sourcing, screening, interviewing and recommending candidates for interviews and for hire. Successful associates demonstrate a strong, independent work ethic, best practices for attracting top talent, the ability to develop and nurture strong working relationships and a passion for providing excellent client satisfaction while ensuring weekly and monthly submit and hire goals are met. While this is not a sales role, the Corporate Recruitment Consultant will exhibit sales competencies as this role requires influencing others and success in a quota-driven environment.

 

The Corporate Recruitment Consultant primary duties include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the selection process including identifying and assessing candidates, conducting pre-screens, facilitating interviews, and gathering candidate and client feedback
  • Build and maintain a network of candidates through market research and on-going relationship management, demonstrating the ability to anticipate client needs and hiring manager preferences by delivering strong submit-to-interview and interview-to-offer ratios.
  • Develop a creative and proactive recruitment strategy to identify passive and active candidates
  • Present strong talent for open positions, overcoming objections in the hiring process
  • Counsel the hiring manager (client) in final selections, compensation and recruitment processes focusing on adding value and doing what is best for the client
  • Maintain strong client and candidate relationships and satisfaction
  • Update and maintain administrative responsibilities such as applicant tracking system data entry and reports

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience recruiting across Marketing, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations and Technical business units strongly preferred 
  • Proven ability to successfully perform all aspects of recruiting including competitive market research, cold calling, internet searches, negotiating and closing candidates
  • Successfully achieve results in a fast-paced, metrics and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to meet and exceed performance expectations and goals, as well as implement feedback to achieve desired outcome
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially able to communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand
  • Ability to prioritize time and work effectively, keeping recruiting pipeline in consideration at all times. Additionally, must be able to confidently communicate pipeline to others
  • Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to execute recruitment strategies, including clear articulation of RPO and client relationship
  • Easily embraces change and demonstrates flexibility when direction or priorities shift
  • Actively participates on recruiting team and looks for ways to add value in addition to fostering an environment of open collaboration
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency, including intermediate MS office skills and strong social media presence
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
