Responsibilities

WilsonHCG is seeking an Employee Relations & Engagement Partner to support the business in delivering high quality solutions for employees. The role will be responsible for evolving and delivering the core practices of employee relations work and will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an engaging and innovative culture as the organization grows and scales. This is a full-time role in our People & Culture department, working from our Global HQ in Tampa, FL.


Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations work across multiple business groups to assist employees and managers in resolving issues and grievances, while serving as a primary contact to employees
  • Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on multiple sources (i.e. exit interviews, survey results, turnover data, etc.) and make recommendations for appropriate, proactive solutions
  • Determine links and trends between engagement and outcomes such as: attrition, employee satisfaction, performance management, etc. and recommend appropriate resulting actions
  • Actively manage the performance management process and conduct exit interviews
  • Align performance management and reward strategies to drive and reinforce a culture of high performance and innovation with and across the business groups
  • Act as a hands-on business champion to drive and leverage employee engagement initiatives that elevate and sustain high levels of employee engagement across the organization
  • Work with the business on highlighting key trends in employee relations and actively driving training, systems and process improvement
  • Deliver appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and employees
  • Provide expertise in development and execution, planning, and facilitation of employee relations efforts
  • Focus on performance management, leadership development, and conflict management
  • Partner with leaders to implement and support employee retention and succession planning programs
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams in EMEA and North America on communications and best practices
  • Develop HR/people oriented programs to positively impact change management
  • Assess employee development needs and make recommendations for appropriate solutions
  • Design and deliver targeted solutions, including strategic planning, visioning, change management and team building

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of HR experience at an HR business partner level or equivalent
  • Experience with coaching at the manager level, focus on performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting
  • Strong work ethic; bias toward action, implementation, speed and flexibility
  • Possess a practical approach to HR with a strong sense of urgency
  • Experience being a trusted people partner and point of contact for employees
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to drive programs independently
  • Analytical and data management skills with the ability to translate data into action plan
  • Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Goal, metric and results-oriented, with the ability to establish a strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and enthusiasm among the teams with which he/she interacts
  • BA/BS degree

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • An understanding of the RPO, recruitment, or contingent staffing industry
  • Experience working with or in support of a global employee base
  • PHR or equivalent HR certification
